XCAT RowVista® With traditional rowing, you are pulling the boat backwards, and your line of sight is opposite of the direction in which you are traveling. With RowVista, you're pulling the boat forward, and your line of sight is forward so you are facing the direction you are headed, much like driving a car or operating a powerboat. You will feel the breeze in your face and you can row at a relaxed pace without fatigue. Moderately fit people can row much farther than they think with RowVista.

XCAT RowMotion® The XCAT RowMotion uses a classic reverse rowing motion—the way that it’s been done since rowing was invented. The stable catamaran design provides a smooth safe ride on the water while an adjustable stop limits movement to the rear so that you can row without using foot straps. This is extremely beneficial if you want to row in flip flops or barefoot in the summer.
XCAT Row Innovations Designed with rowing in mind, the XCAT is built to excel at rowing while providing an unparalleled platform that can withstand coastal conditions and constant powerboat wakes.

Whether sailing, rowing, stand-up paddling or motoring, the XCAT is the perfect multi-sport platform. This boat is simply enjoyed thanks, in part, to its ease of assembly and transport. Simply unload it from your roof rack or truck bed and assemble it in only a few minutes with no tools. The XCAT is the perfect fit for anyone looking for a portable sail or coastal rowboat and aren’t interested in fussing with inflatables or trailers. A winner of SAIL Magazine’s 2017 award for Best Day Sailer, the XCAT combines versatility, portability and performance in a way that no other boat on the market can. From capturing high winds with XCAT Sail, or leveraging the forward-facing RowVista® or rear-facing RowMotion® rowing mechanisms with the XCAT Row, the XCAT opens up a whole new world of adventures.

5 Facts
01 Automatic heave-to for a break on the water The XCAT does it with finesse by counter-steering automatically. Haul in the main sheet, roll in the jib, shift your weight to the front and the XCAT does the rest automatically: the boat turns into the wind, moves back, the rudder counter-steers the stern to port or starboard and the boat moves forwards again. As it turns into the wind again it repeats the whole cycle, but in the other direction. The result: the XCAT swings in the wind between 15° to port and 15° to starboard, and that works even when a storm suddenly develops. Safety that only the XCAT can offer.
02 Genoa style head sail instead of a jib Provides excellent power and can be rolled in quickly with the endless roller. Main sail with 6 easy-to-fit sail battens. Strong and tough 6 oz. Dacron sail cloth. 03 The XCAT does not need a dagger board The shape of the hull with its full-length keels prevents leeway.
04 Advantages Thanks to the hull keels, the XCAT is unbelievably smooth in the water and virtually has an integrated self-steering system. On the XCAT you can simply let go of the tiller and control the boat by shifting your weight. Move your weight forward and the XCAT luffs up into the wind, regardless of the direction it is coming from. Move your weight aft and the XCAT steers away from the wind. That is simply awesome. Boats with a dagger board only hold their course if they are steered with care. On longer trips it is tiring to always have to concentrate on steering. Easy running up on the beach No sensitive folding dagger board design Low risk of capsizing (Side pressure on dagger board increases the tendency to capsize
05 No sailing license required! However, we recommend that you learn the basics of sailing (from a book or online) or do a sailing course. Ideally, the sailing school should teach you using an XCAT.
Key features Very simple Genoa sheet system with Barber hauler for optimum sail trim Sail batten tensioner – Tensioning with less effort Genoa sheet connection – Easy without knots Automatic counter-steering Rudder with grounding protection is simply slotted in and secured in place Dyneema shrouds – As strong as a steel cable but as flexible and soft as a cord Bowsprit with high-strength carbon tube for the toughest conditions XCAT Sail with optimised air flow No risk of the luff snagging on the mast Safety first – The sail always slides down easily, in case you ever need to do it quickly Components of the XCAT Sail

With the RowVista® forward rowing system you are able to row in the direction that you are facing. Due to its innovative mechanism, the RowVista® allows blade feathering, just like when sculling with a traditional rowing boat. Forward rowing allows easier stabilizing the boat, easy course correction because of better sight and safer rowing at stronger swell (for instance coastal rowing, open water rowing).
1. The powerful rocker arm transmits and amplifies the rotation of the handle to the scull blade. The handle rotates just 65° to rotate the blade 85°. That means less stress on your wrists. Patented worldwide.
2. High strength con rods with ball heads transfer the rotation from the handle to the rocker arm independently of the angle of the scull.
3. Positioning cam for defined vertical and horizontal blade positions. This system eliminates the risk of "catching a crab". (An expression used in rowing when the rower is unable to remove the scull blade from the water at the end of the drive stroke)
4. Ball bearings in hinge prevent power loss in the linkage mechanism. Smooth running ball bearings for easy scull blade feathering. That protects your hands and minimizes the formation of blisters.
5. Carbon fiber tubes for handle and scull blade: smooth rowing thanks to lightweight materials, even in the toughest conditions.
6. Release leash to easily and quickly fold up the sculls.
7. High strength pivot rowlock so the RowVista® forward rowing sculls can easily be attached and removed.
Flat Outrigger (F) suitable for MOJO 18', DUDE 18' and standard inflatable and hard shell Stand Up Paddle boards. Yoke Outrigger (Y) suitable for the AIRKAYAK 16' and standard inflatable and hard shell kayaks, canoes, canadian canoes. High-quality carbon and sea water resistant.
A technical masterpiece: rowing forward with blade feathering. This is a real first for forward rowing systems. And it is even easier to rotate than with classic rowing systems because the axis is mounted on ball bearings. The main reason why you get blisters on your hands using standard sculls is because the sculling sleeve is relatively difficult to rotate in the rowlock. With this system, rotation is controlled in both directions so that the blade is always in the right position. As a result, rowing with RowVista® is easier to learn than classic rowing. All of your energy is transmitted to the scull blade thanks to the highly efficient linkage. The handle shaft and blade shaft can be folded up and are self-locking.
High quality, high strength rowlock, so RowVista® forward sculls can easily be attached and removed.
Pivot rowlock that allows scull to be pivoted completely parallel to the boat.
The main reason why you get blisters on your hands using standard sculls is because the sculling sleeve is relatively difficult to rotate in the rowlock.
As a result, rowing with RowVista is easier to learn than classic rowing.
No energy is wasted thanks to the high quality jointed rowlocks with ball bearings.
The handle tube and blade tube can be folded up and are self-locking.
Feathering the scull blade. Big Blade scull shape. Foot stretcher with pivot axle: no over extension of the Achilles tendon. Light carbon tubes with synthetic handle that is kind to your skin.
2 mounting straps for alternative method of securing Rowing Skids (instead of hooks and buckles). Suitable for standard inflatable or hardboard SUP boards. Length 2 m (78"). No loss in speed, same gliding characteristics.
Soft sliding seat with six ball bearings that glide smoothly and quietly along the roller rails.
Optional: Upgrade sliding seat Carbon
roller rails with 2 mounting straps with stainless steel hooks and buckles, sliding seat, foot stretcher, non-slip support feet, 1p RowVista® forward rowing sculls 113 cm (44") in carbon with linkage mechanism and blade feathering integrated, a bag for the RowVista® sculls and a Rowing Skid bag.
Rowing Skid and RowVista® sculls stowed in practical bags.

Haswing’s Ultima electric outboard is a perfect match for small inflatables, tenders and car-toppers. It can also be used to power some small yachts or be used as an auxiliary motor.
Its powerful brush-less electric motor can deliver up to 110lbs thrust of step-less adjustable speed control in either forward or reverse, equivalent to that from a 4hp petrol outboard. However, at just 15.9kgs, it is considerably lighter than a 4hp petrol outboard.
The Haswing Ultima’s unique vertical battery mount design creates an extremely compact outboard and, with the battery able to be easily removed onshore or at sea, the result is two light and very easy to handle 5kg and 10kg components, perfect for stowing on-board or in a vehicle.
Suitable for both salt and freshwater use, the Ultima boasts a maximum speed of around 5 knots and can cruise economically at around 3 knots, giving a range of up to 18 nautical miles (34 km) on a single charge. With a maximum 55 decibel rating, the Ultima complements its long range with ultra-quiet cruising.
Its lightweight, compact design makes it easy to attach and detach both on land and at sea and, with 7 tilting positions, can be used in almost every depth of water.
The Ultima’s rechargeable LiPo battery has a LED battery level indicator that provides an up-to-the-minute battery status display, an extendable folding handle that can expand to 400mm and has a tilting angle of 180 degrees, and a handy magnetic kill switch.
