Is the Temo 450 waterproof?
Yes, 100% waterproof with IP67 certification (tested 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter)
Does the Temo 450 float?
TEMO floats for only a few seconds, but then will sink quickly. We offer a buoyancy device as an accessory.
Please note that TEMO also comes with a rowlock attachment that allows you to secure TEMO on board and avoid any risk of falling into the water.
Can the Temo 450 be mounted to the boat under lock and key?
Yes definitely!
Even though TEMO is very light and easy to carry in the transport bag, it can also be left on your boat.
TEMO offers an anti-theft system(available in our accessories) to secure TEMO when you are away.
Also note that TEMO has a magnetic security key that acts as a circuit breaker. Without the key, the engine cannot start.
How do I know if Temo 450 is suitable for my boat?
If you currently use the oar or a small motor (equivalent or less than 2HP) for your trips by dinghy then TEMO is a perfect fit. Temo 450 is 3 times more powerful than a single person can row.
Generally, TEMO will be able to propel boats up to 2m50 with 2-3 people on board and loaded with equipment.

What is the range at full power?
The speed of TEMO can be adjusted by pressing the trigger. If you hold down the trigger, you have up to 42 minutes of autonomy. And up to 80 minutes at half speed.
