RowVista® is a forward-rowing system that keeps blade feathering — the first one to manage both. You sit facing the bow, see where you are going, and still rotate the blade square-to-feathered as you would in a conventional single. A patented rocker-arm linkage does it: the handle turns 65° and the blade turns 85°, so your wrists do less work than they would sculling normally. The complete set fits any ROWonAIR board, a hard-shell or inflatable SUP, a kayak or a Canadian canoe, and assembles in about two minutes with no tools.
Why row facing forwards?
Because you can see the water. Course correction stops being a series of shoulder checks, and in swell you can read the troughs before you drop into them — which is the difference between coastal rowing being fun and being a guess. Crossing the wake of a larger boat, you take it on your terms. Stabilising the boat is easier too, since the visual reference is in front of you rather than over your shoulder.
How is this different from an ordinary forward-rowing rig?
Most forward-rowing systems cannot feather the blade, so you either drag a square blade back through the air or you accept a fixed angle. RowVista® rotates the blade in both directions through a ball-bearing-mounted axis, controlled by high-strength con rods with ball heads that transfer rotation independently of the scull's angle. A positioning cam fixes the vertical and horizontal blade positions, which removes the risk of catching a crab. In practice it is easier to learn than classic sculling, because the blade cannot arrive at the water in the wrong attitude.
Which outrigger do you need?

Flat Outrigger — for the DUDE 18, MOJO 18, AIRSKIFF 17, LITE 15, and hard-board SUPs or rowing boards. This is the one most buyers want.

Deep Outrigger — for the AIRKAYAK 16 and hard-shell kayaks, canoes and Canadian canoes, where the rowlocks have to sit lower and further out.
Both are carbon, both weigh 3.5 kg, and both come with a bag. The monorail, sliding seat and foot stretcher are the same either way.
How does it pack and travel?
The sculls separate to 1.13 m (44.5″) and fold self-locking, into two bags that both fit the ROWonAIR travel bag. The monorail assembly is 6.6 kg excluding bags. Hooks and buckles are seawater-resistant stainless steel, and two mounting straps are supplied as an alternative to hooking into D-rings, so the system also fits a board with no fittings.

Hong Kong orders ship within three working days, or collect from our Castle Peak Road address. The system travels in its own bags — longest piece 1.67 m — and goes abroad as a single consignment with live courier rates shown at checkout.
