This 2023 Saxdor 320 GTC is a high-specification, low-hour example of Saxdor Yachts' fully enclosed 33-foot sport cruiser, lying afloat at Gold Coast Yacht & Country Club, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong and offered at HK$1,900,000. It carries only around 60 engine hours on twin Mercury V8 AMS 300 hp outboards — 600 hp in total — and is fitted with joystick control, bow thruster, Webasto climate control and a lithium house battery system, making it one of the best-equipped 320 GTCs available in Hong Kong.
How many engine hours does it have?
Approximately 60 hours. For a pair of Mercury V8 FourStroke outboards, which are rated for well over 2,000 hours of recreational service with routine maintenance, that is barely past run-in — roughly 3% of a conservative engine life. The hull, upholstery, deck hardware and electronics have seen correspondingly light use, and the boat presents as close to new throughout.
What makes this a high-specification example?
The 320 GTC can be ordered fairly plainly. This one was not. It has Mercury joystick control paired with a bow thruster, which between them make berthing a 33-foot twin-outboard boat a single-handed job in a crosswind — genuinely important in a tight Hong Kong marina berth. Navigation is handled by twin Simrad 12-inch displays with Mercury VesselView engine data, and there is a Fusion audio system throughout.
For comfort it carries Webasto reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating, shore power, a lithium battery bank with inverter, an electric heads, a pressurised freshwater system, a fridge, an electric anchor windlass at the bow, a bimini awning and a teak aft deck.
Why does the enclosed GTC layout suit Hong Kong?
The GTC is the fully enclosed version of the 320 platform: glass on all four sides, a sliding roof and multi-function aft doors. Combined with the Webasto system it can be run air-conditioned through a Hong Kong summer and stays dry and usable through the winter monsoon — the single biggest practical difference from an open bowrider in this climate. When the weather is good the roof and aft doors open the saloon completely to the cockpit.
At 32 feet it is also a size that works here commercially: berths are easier to find and cheaper than a 40-plus footer, the boat is easy to handle, and the twin-stepped V21° hull still cruises at 32–45 knots, putting Sai Kung, Lamma, Cheung Chau and the Soko Islands within a single comfortable hop.
How many people can it carry, and can you sleep aboard?
Certified for 9 persons. There is one cabin forward with two berths plus a separate electric heads compartment, so overnighting for a couple is realistic, while the aft bench, teak cockpit table and large bow sun pad are built around day use — family outings, sunset cruises, friends aboard, or business entertaining.
