VOOK Carry Go 16-Inch Urban Portable Bike, 7.7 kg
The VOOK Carry Go is a 7.7 kg, 16-inch small-wheel city bike for riders who need to carry a bike onto trains, up stairs and into car boots. It deliberately does not fold: instead, the handlebar comes off in two steps, flattening the bike to 21.5 cm wide so it slides into the included carry bag, while the rigid one-piece frame rides more like a road bike than a hinged folder.
Why doesn't the Carry Go fold?
Folding hinges add weight and flex. The Carry Go uses a fixed 6069 aluminium frame (approx. 690 g) with more than ten triangulated sections and an aluminium fork (approx. 245 g), so pedalling force goes into the wheels rather than the joints. For storage, VOOK's patented quick-release stem uses a single screw with self-centring clamping: remove the bar, lay it alongside the frame, and the bike packs down without a hinge.

Measured without pedals. The quick-release pedals come off too, and the custom bag packs flat with a shoulder strap for carrying.
How does it ride?
A 799 mm wheelbase and 340 mm chainstays give a very tight turning circle for crowded streets, and the low minimum seat height lets shorter riders put both feet down easily. A tall 320 mm head tube and 38° high-rise stem keep the riding position upright. Gearing is a SENTYEN 1×10-speed drivetrain with a 50T chainring and 11–25T cassette, and braking is by WE ONE short-arm V-brakes.
