Haswing’s Ultima electric outboard is a perfect match for small inflatables, tenders and car-toppers. It can also be used to power some small yachts or be used as an auxiliary motor.

Its powerful brush-less electric motor can deliver up to 110lbs thrust of step-less adjustable speed control in either forward or reverse, equivalent to that from a 4hp petrol outboard. However, at just 15.9kgs, it is considerably lighter than a 4hp petrol outboard.

The Haswing Ultima’s unique vertical battery mount design creates an extremely compact outboard and, with the battery able to be easily removed onshore or at sea, the result is two light and very easy to handle 5kg and 10kg components, perfect for stowing on-board or in a vehicle.

Suitable for both salt and freshwater use, the Ultima boasts a maximum speed of around 5 knots and can cruise economically at around 3 knots, giving a range of up to 18 nautical miles (34 km) on a single charge. With a maximum 55 decibel rating, the Ultima complements its long range with ultra-quiet cruising.

Its lightweight, compact design makes it easy to attach and detach both on land and at sea and, with 7 tilting positions, can be used in almost every depth of water.

The Ultima’s rechargeable LiPo battery has a LED battery level indicator that provides an up-to-the-minute battery status display, an extendable folding handle that can expand to 400mm and has a tilting angle of 180 degrees, and a handy magnetic kill switch.

1. *** Increases the capacity of the inflatable keel air chamber, causing the bow to rise, and greatly improving the boat's ability to cut through waves.

This provides the boat with less resistance, increased speed, fuel efficiency, and more effective use.

2. *** 43cm diameter high air volume air chamber body

Most inflatable boats under 3 meters have air chambers with a diameter of only about 22-26cm.

Our 2.8 meter inflatable boat has been widened to 43cm, which allows for more air o be accommodated.

In addition to improving safety, the maximum load capacity has been increased to 420kg.

This also brings essential additional stability to navigation, allowing users to enjoy their journey comfortably on a changing sea.

3. *** Strengthened anti-break armor padding

Additional anti-break armor padding has been added to the bow anchor seat, around the boat, at the center of the bottom of the boat, and at the bottom of the air chamber.

This provides greater peace of mind when landing on a beach or near shallow water areas.

No additional fees are required, as the highest quality responds to the customer's trust and support.

4. *** Cross-strengthened wooden board

Placed under the inflatable deck to fix the boat's structural integrity, allowing the inflatable air chamber to be optimally positioned on the boat.

5. *** Double-ring towing buckle and side buckles

The main buckle is located at the bow with a rope, and an additional main buckle is provided for easy towing.

Two side buckles are also provided, allowing the towing force to be evenly distributed.

6. *** Equipped with an anchor seat

The design of the anchor seat's pulley cannot be underestimated, as it makes it easy to handle the anchor rope, whether pulling it in or letting it out.

No longer do users need to worry about the anchor rope rubbing against the boat or having to deliberately use their hands to pull or release the rope.

5 Facts

01 Automatic heave-to for a break on the water
The XCAT does it with finesse by counter-steering automatically. Haul in the main sheet, roll in the jib, shift your weight to the front and the XCAT does the rest automatically: the boat turns into the wind, moves back, the rudder counter-steers the stern to port or starboard and the boat moves forwards again. As it turns into the wind again it repeats the whole cycle, but in the other direction. The result: the XCAT swings in the wind between 15° to port and 15° to starboard, and that works even when a storm suddenly develops. Safety that only the XCAT can offer.

02 Genoa style head sail instead of a jib

03 The XCAT does not need a dagger board
The shape of the hull with its full-length keels prevents leeway.

04 Advantages
Thanks to the hull keels, the XCAT is unbelievably smooth in the water and virtually has an integrated self-steering system. On the XCAT you can simply let go of the tiller and control the boat by shifting your weight. Move your weight forward and the XCAT luffs up into the wind, regardless of the direction it is coming from. Move your weight aft and the XCAT steers away from the wind. That is simply awesome.
Boats with a dagger board only hold their course if they are steered with care. On longer trips it is tiring to always have to concentrate on steering.
